Passion Fruit juice! The color of fresh passion fruit varies widely but is commonly yellow and dark purple, with a slice of interior meat that is juicy and full of seeds. It is not common to find it fresh in some cities, but look for  it in any market’s freezer section. Don’t worry, though; the benefits are still there!

An excellent source of dietary fiber. Passion fruit helps remove cholesterol from the body. It also helps protect the colon’s mucous membrane by decreasing exposure time to toxic substances and wiping off cancer-causing toxins from the colon wall.

Besides, passion fruit contains a high amount of iron and is a good source of vitamin C, which helps the body absorb the iron and develop resistance against flu-like infections, perfect for this flu season. This fruit also has an adequate vitamin A level (essential for good eyesight) and a high potassium content with almost no sodium, making passion fruit highly effective in protecting the body from high blood pressure. Furthermore, granadilla is an excellent source of copper, magnesium, and phosphorus.
